In the Kostroma region “SVEZA” has opened a stand-alone mini-thermal power plant
On the 28 th of November “SVEZA” launched autonomous small combined heat and power (CHP) at the plant “SVEZA Manturovo”. The mini-CHP project at SVEZA Manturovo received the prestigious industrial award Lesprom Awards 2018, winning the nomination “Green energy”.
In opening ceremony took part the Governor of the Kostroma region Sergey Sitnikov, the General Director of the company “SVEZA” Anatoly Frishman, Director of the plant “SVEZA Manturovo” Oleg Nadezhdin and representatives of the General contractor, the Austrian company POLYTECHNIK Luft – und Feuerungstechnik GmbH.
According to Anatoly Frishman, CEO of SVEZA, ” if you want to be the first in the market, you need to keep up with the times. The SVEZA company constantly invests in modernization of the enterprises, in introduction of new technologies and decisions. With the launch of the mini-CHP solves several problems.”
The new mini-CHP plant has a heat capacity of 36 MW and an electric capacity of 4 MW. With its commissioning, the productivity of the SVEZA plant in Manturovo will increase by 20 thousand m3 of finished products per year. The volume of investments in the project amounted to more than 1.2 billion rubles (without VAT).
The use of the new mini-CHP will reduce production costs and significantly reduce the negative impact on the environment. In addition to the positive economic effect, the use of mini-CHP will reduce the negative impact on the environment. The launch of an Autonomous small thermal power plant will ensure the rational use of natural resources through the use of renewable energy sources. Emission of harmful substances into the air will be significantly reduced due to multi-stage combustion of fuel and installation of modern gas cleaning equipment. Disposal of unclaimed wood waste will also reduce the removal of solid waste (MSW)to the landfill.
