According to the Ministry of forestry of the Krasnoyarsk territory, in this regard, the inspectors of the Ministry of forestry of the region, together with the forest protection and the police increased control over the transportation of wood. Every day on the roads in the region are mobile groups.

In addition, on a regular basis, there are duties at stationary posts located in Kansk, Lesosibirsk and Evenkia on the border with the Irkutsk region.

To confirm the legality of the transportation of wood, its carriers can use the accompanying document of the established form, it specifies the necessary data-about the owner, carrier and recipient of wood, the route of its transportation, the composition and volume of timber.

In 2018, the inspectors of the Ministry of forestry of the region and forest protection conducted more than 838 duties to control the transportation of wood, during which they inspected more than 13 thousand units of vehicles carrying wood. According to the law, for the absence of the accompanying document during the transportation of wood, officials face an administrative fine of 30 to 50 thousand, legal entities – from 500 to 700 thousand rubles.

“Stationary posts for control over the legality of the origin and transportation of wood are located on key routes, which traditionally carry the bulk of harvested wood in the region. Inspectors are on duty here around the clock and inspect the timber. Since the beginning of this year, 90 protocols have been drawn up for the lack of an accompanying document in respect of violators. Unscrupulous carriers fined 19 million rubles, ” – said the Deputy Minister of forestry of the region Alexei Bolshakov.
