In Japan, Nippon Paper Industries will build a plant for the production of carboxymethyl cellulose
Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd. announced the construction of a new plant for the production of functional cellulose product –carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC, product name SUNROSE ) at the factory Gotu (Gotu city, Shimane Prefecture).
The company will invest about 4.7 billion yen in the construction of the facility, which is planned to be completed in November 2020. This was reported by the press service of the company.

In September 2017, the company released cellulose nanofiber (CM-CNF called CELLENPIA). Nippon Paper Group consists of about 160 branches and related companies headed by Nippon Paper Industries Co.,which is a 100% holding company. It is headquartered in Tokyo.
