In January-September 2021, Russia increased pellets export by 6.8%

According to the Federal Customs Service of Russia, in January-September 2021, the export volume of wood pellets from Russia increased by 6.8% YoY to 1.763 million tons. The main buyers of Russian pellets for the reporting period were: Denmark — 689,4 thousand tons (+3.7% YoY), Belgium — 307,4 thousand tons (+44.2% YoY), South Korea — 123,1 thousand tons (-8% YoY).

The value of Russian pellet exports in January-September 2021 remained at the level of the previous year.
