In January-August 2022, pellet production in Russia decreased by 12.7%

According to Rosstat, in January-August 2022, the volume of Russian wood pellet production decreased by 12.7% YoY to 1.424 million tons. Production in August compared to July decreased by almost 13% — this is the highest percentage decrease in a month among all types of timber products, data on which is published by the State Statistics Service.
