In January 2019, the share of export of Russian timber and pulp and paper products amounted to 3.1 %

According to the Federal customs service of the Russian Federation on March 07, 2019, the share of exports of timber and pulp and paper products in January 2019 amounted to 3.1% (in January 2018-2.8%).

In the commodity structure of exports to foreign countries, the share of these goods amounted to 2.9% (in January 2018 – 2.6%), to the CIS countries-4.7% (4.2%).

The value of exports of this commodity group increased by 3.1%, while the physical volume decreased by 0.3%. Physical volumes of newspaper paper supplies increased by 47.4%, sawn timber – by 13.9%, plywood-by 8.6%. But the volume of supply of unprocessed timber decreased by 25.8%.
