In February 2019, sawn softwood production in Russia increased to 2 million m3

According to Rosstat on March 20, 2019, the volume of production of sawn softwood in Russia in February 2019 amounted to 1 849 thousand m3. Compared to the same period last year, an increase of 9.4% or 106 % by February 2018.

Production of sawn hardwood in February remained at the same level as in February 2018 – 146 thousand m3 (in % by February 2018 – 99.3).

Index of production of wood processing and production of wood products and cork, except furniture, production of products from straw and materials for weaving in February 2019. compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, it amounted to 108.2% in January-February 2019. – 109.9%.

Index of paper and paper products production in February 2019. compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, it amounted to 106.6% in January-February 2019– 110.2%.
