Luzales plans to open new plywood plant in the Omsk region

Luzales, one of the largest timber enterprises in the Komi Republic, will build a plywood plant in the Omsk region with a capacity of 60,000 m³ per year. The volume of investments is estimated at 1.5 billion rubles, Ruslan Semenyuk, chairman of the board of directors of Luzales LLC, said in an interview with TASS.

“There are plans to build a plywood plant with a production capacity of 60,000 m³ per year in the Omsk Region. The volume of investments in the construction of the plant will amount to 1.5 billion rubles. The project plans to create about 250 new jobs,” — said director of company.

The implementation of the project is aimed at building a modern production facility taking into account all environmental standards, creating conditions for waste-free production and the deepest possible processing of wood. Now all aspects of this project are being discussed with the leadership of the Omsk region, Semenyuk added.
