In 2022, plywood production in Russia fell to its ten-year low

According to the published data of Rosstat, in 2022 the volume of Russian plywood production decreased by 28.8% YoY to 3.241 million m³, which is the minimum indicator over the past ten years. Annual production rolled back to about the level of 2012 – then 3.146 million m³ of plywood were produced in the country.

In December 2022, plywood output fell by 40.8% YoY; compared to November 2022, the decrease was 1.1%.
