HS Timber Group completes acquisition of Kurekss SIA

HS Timber Group has completed the acquisition of Kurekss SIA and its subsidiary Kurzemes Granulas SIA following approval from the Latvian competition authority. The transaction amount was not disclosed.

Kurekss SIA is one of Latvia’s leading sawn timber producers, while Kurzemes Granulas SIA specializes in wood pellet production. Both companies will continue to operate under their existing brands and management teams.

HS Timber Group CEO Juergen Bergner said the acquisition will strengthen the group’s position in the Baltic region and support its strategy for sustainable growth.
