Holz House launched the production of laminated veneer lumber in the Kirov region

According to the press service of the regional government, the second stage of production of houses made of laminated veneer lumber was launched in Luzа as part of the investment project.

After the implementation of investment projects, more than 250 jobs have been created, by the end of the year their number will reach 300. This year it is planned to attract up to 70 million rubles of taxes to the budget of the Kirov region.

The government of the Kirov region has set several tasks for the enterprise: one of them is the development of socially significant projects: the construction of medical and obstetric stations, schools and kindergartens made of wood.

During the construction of buildings made of wood, the cost per square meter of the total built area is reduced, which makes housing affordable and reduces the construction period.

As noted by the General Director of the Fund for the development of single-industry towns, Deputy Chairman of VEB.RF  Irina Makieva, “the Fund cooperates with the company for a long period: we together with the region built the infrastructure for the production site, later the Fund issued a loan for a new plant”.

She added that in the future, as part of the development of production in the monocity of Luz, the Fund is ready to consider the possibility of providing the Holz house company with a preferential interest-free loan. The company plans to create a line for deep processing of wood waste – the production of fuel pellets in the near future.
