Construction of a timber processing enterprise worth 13.9 billion rubles began on Sakhalin

Evrazles LLC started building a timber processing plant in Dachnoye village, Korsakovsky urban district, Sakhalin Region. The company will invest 13.9 billion rubles by 2026. The new enterprise will process about 700,000 m³ of logs per year, producing over 330,000 tons of finished products – sawn timber, CLT panels, OSB, wood pellets and charcoal.

In February 2022, this investment project by Evrazles LLC was recognized as a priority investment project in the forest sector. The company is planning to invest 2 billion rubles by the end of 2022 to build a sawmilling shop and start producing planed sawn timber.
