By 2025, Smolensk Woodworking Plant is planning to increase its plywood output to 50,000 m³ per year

The new owner invested 1 billion rubles in repurposing the plant for birch plywood (exterior grade plywood) production. Plywood lamination line and RUF fuel briquettes production was also started up. Prior to the reconstruction that finished in 2018, the plant had been producing wooden windows and doors.

By 2025, Smolensk Woodworking Plant is planning to increase its output volume from 18,000 to 50,000 m³ per year and expand the product line. The management is planning to create 200 additional jobs for that purpose.
