The pulp mill in Pitkyaranta (Karelia) to increase the output of wood pulp to 140,000 tons per year

In the near future, RK-Grand LLC (owner of the plant) will invest 1.5 billion rubles in the town-forming enterprise of Pitkyaranta – a pulp mill, – which will increase the output to 140,000 tons of wood pulp per year (in 2020, according to WhatWood’s data, the output amounted to 105,000 tons).

In 2021, it is scheduled to complete the renovation of the cooking shop by introducing a new technology of Grand Modified Pulp Cooking. A long-term investment project for the construction of a forestry shop will also be launched this year.
