By 2021, the Finnish company Econet will be installed at the plant of Ilim Group in Koryazhma equipment for sewage treatment plants at a cost of 2.5 million euros
The Econet Group and Ilim group entered into a € 2.5 million deal, which includes wastewater treatment equipment from the pulp and paper mill in Koryazhma. This was announced on February 04, 2019 by the press service of the Econet Group.
According to Matti Leppaniemi, Chairman of the Board of the Econet, “we cooperate with the Ilim Group and supply wastewater treatment equipment for it.” Delivery of equipment will be carried out in six stages, and in the summer period 2019 – 2021 in Addition to the production equipment, Econet is also responsible for installation supervision.
Production Director Econet Heikki Viitanen told:
“We have developed a technique that is able to work in difficult Arctic conditions. In the Northern latitudes, the temperature can range from + 25 degrees Celsius to -45 degrees below zero. The machines are made of acid-resistant and stainless steel. The equipment for the sump is placed in tanks with a diameter of more than 40 m.it is supplied in parts and assembled on site, which also imposes high requirements for the design and production of equipment.”
