Boise Cascade reports 76% decline in net income for Q3 2025
Boise Cascade Company has released its financial results for Q3 2025, reporting a decline in key performance indicators compared to the same period last year.
The company’s sales totaled $1.67 billion, down 3% from $1.71 billion in the third quarter of 2024. Net income decreased by 76% to $21.8 million, compared to $91.0 million a year earlier. Diluted earnings per share fell from $2.33 to $0.58, while adjusted EBITDA dropped by 52%, to $74.4 million, compared with $154.5 million in the third quarter of 2024.
Chief Executive Officer Nate Jorgensen noted that despite moderate demand and commodity pricing pressures, Boise Cascade maintained resilience through a strong financial position and consistent execution of its strategic priorities.
The company remains one of the largest producers of engineered wood products and plywood in North America, as well as a leading U.S. wholesale distributor of building materials.
