Sveza purchased Kama PPM

Sveza announced the purchase of Kama PPM (Krasnokamsk, Perm Region), as reported by the press office of the world’s largest producer of birch plywood. The company has thus entered the market of pulp and paper products, which is new to it.

At the moment, the parties have signed a purchase and sale agreement for the mill. The deal will be closed after the approval of the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service of Russia. The terms and structure of the deal are not disclosed. Meanwhile, Kommersant has estimated its value at 47 billion rubles.

Kama LLC is the only Russian producer of lightweight coated paper (LWC) and coated folding boxboard (FBB). In 2023, the company produced 213,000 t of coated cardboard and 83,000 t of lightweight coated and offset paper.
