According to the press service of the company “Sveza”, the city-forming plant is not only a place of work for more than 1,600 people but also one of the main taxpayers of the region, which has a significant impact on social life in the region of its presence.

Denis Maltsev, Director of the branch of Sveza in Uralsky: “for many years, Sveza plant in Uralsky has been an example of a successful enterprise that makes a significant economic and social contribution to the region of its presence. This would not have been possible without the staff involved-highly qualified experts in their fields. As a responsible manufacturer, we strive to share our success, ensuring a comfortable and safe life for both employees and residents of the village.”

It all began in 1956 when the company released the first sheet of plywood. Currently, the Sveza plant in Uralsk is equipped with the most modern equipment, and production volumes are ten times higher than its first indicators. High-quality products of the company are widely in demand in 80 countries around the world, including the markets of Russia, Germany, the USA, Turkey, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Benelux.

The town-forming plant “Sveza” in Uralsky has a significant impact on the region of its presence. Only in the last three years, the company has sent to the local budget about 2 billion rubles of tax deductions.

Another priority of Sveza’s activities as a responsible producer is to contribute to the development of the local community. As social support, the works in Uralsk permanently allocates funds to local kindergartens and schools, cultural institutions, associations of veterans of labor and war. From 2016 to 2018, the plant provided charitable assistance in the amount of about 10 million rubles. Another 12 million rubles were allocated in the same period for the development of sports. Every year, with the support of Sveza, an ice rink is poured, which in winter becomes a favorite meeting place for all residents of the village and nearby settlements.

By the way, the sport is embedded in the corporate culture of the company “Sveza”. In 2018, the football team from the Urals won the championship of the Perm region and entered the Top League. This year the team will participate in the championship of Perm region, defending the honor of the enterprise and the village.

Sveza pays close attention to environmental safety. At the end of 2019, it is planned to complete the construction of a new thermal power station. According to preliminary estimates, investments in the project will amount to more than 2.5 billion rubles. The launch of the plant will contribute to the transition of the plant to a closed — cycle economy-through the processing of waste from the main production to generate its own heat and electricity. The use of the new mini-TPS ensures uninterrupted power supply to the production processes of the enterprise, creates the necessary amount of heat for the village, reduces production costs, significantly reduces the negative impact on the environment.
