VLP Group is consolidating its position in the Uzbekistan market

VLP Group signed two new contracts for supply of 6,500 m³ (50 railcars) of sawn timber at the UzBuild Tashkent 2025 Exhibition. These complemented the already existing partnership agreements with Uzbek buyers. According to the Group’s management team, cooperation with Uzbekistan has a great development potential.

Plitwood (a joint venture of VLP Group and Cherepovets Plywood and Furniture Plant) also signed a contract with another Uzbekistan company for supply of laminated plywood after successful first shipments. The market of Uzbekistan is estimated at 85,000 m³ per year, half of which is laminated plywood for formwork.
