The capacity of Sheksna Wood-Based Panels Plant will almost triple due to implementation of a new investment project on renovating the particleboard production venue, according to VLP Group’s official VKontakte group.

The corresponding Agreement was signed between the Government of the Vologda Region, VLP Group, and Cherepovets Plywood and Furniture Plant within the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2024.

The project on renovating the Nordeco wood-based panels production site in the Sheksna settlement, Vologda Region, includes purchasing and installing an additional line to produce contemporary-sized particleboard, enabling the enterprise to increase its annual production volume by 450,000 m³. The particleboard laminating capacity will also rise by 225,000 m³ per year. The investment value will reach around 8.5 billion rubles. The project will be implemented in 2025–2029.
