Uranium One Expands Geography of Wood Pellets Sales

26 February 2020 ` 13:00

Uranium One (company of Rosatom State Corporation) carried out the first shipment of wood pellets to a Danish consumer company. 2000 tons of pellets were loaded onto the ship at Saint-Petersburg seaport. For the first time, Uranium One carried out a wood pellet delivery bulk by vessel.

Biofuel is the new and high-potential business area of Uranium One within the Rosatom’s overall strategy on the development of low-carbon energy and renewables. In 2019, Uranium One provided export supplies of wood pellets to customers in Finland and UK.

Uranium One received international FSC and SBP certificates in 2019.
