Ukraine introduces anti-dumping duties on import of particleboards from Russia and Belarus

11 January 2022 ` 16:51

The Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade of Ukraine introduced anti-dumping duties on particleboards (TN VED codes 4410 11 10 00, 4410 11 30 00, 4410 11 90 00) from the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.

The measure will be applied for 5 years, from January 23, 2022 to January 23, 2027, in the form of an anti-dumping duty of 45.14% for producers and exporters from Belarus, as well as 18.19% for producers and exporters from Russia.

The decision to impose duties was made following the results of an anti-dumping investigation initiated in February 2021 by the largest Ukrainian particleboard manufacturer (over 50% of production in the country) Swisspan Limited.
