Timber harvest in Russia increased by 5.2% YoY in January 2025

According to the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), in January 2025, the Russian timber harvest grew by 5.2% YoY, up to 12.053 million m³ of dense timber. Softwood timber accounted for 7.740 million m³ out of the total volume (+5.5% YoY); hardwood timber, for 4.313 million m³ (+4.7% YoY).
