Timber harvest in Russia increased by 4.9% YoY in 2024

According to the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), the Russian timber harvest grew by 4.9% YoY in 2024, up to 121.063 million m³ of dense timber. Softwood timber accounted for 78.452 million m³ out of the total volume (+4.1% YoY); hardwood timber, for 42.610 million m³ (+6.3% YoY).

In December, the Russian timber harvest reached 13.704 million m³ of dense timber (+8.5% YoY).
