Timber export from Karelia increased by 25% in January–September 2024

According to the press office of the North Sea Inter-Regional Administration of Rosselkhoznadzor, Karelia exported 385,500 m³ of timber in January–September 2024, including 279,400 m³ of sawn timber and 101,200 m³ of roundwood. The timber products were shipped to China, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and other countries. Timber supplies from Karelia to foreign countries surged by one fourth year-on-year over 9 months of 2024.
