The USA has developed a draft bill prohibiting the import of Russian and Belorussian timber products

The House of Representatives of the US Congress developed a draft bill prohibiting the import of Russian and Belorussian timber and products thereof.

This document was submitted to the House of Representatives on April 7. Specific types of timber products that the ban is supposed to cover are not indicated.

According to WhatWood, in 2021, the import of Russian timber products to the USA was $532 million (where plywood accounted for $416 million).
