The plant for the production of torrefied pellets will be built in the Novgorod region

The agreement on the implementation of the investment project for the construction of a plant of torrefied pellets was signed on June 6, 2019, by Governor Andrei Nikitin and General Director of Sila Prirodu LCC Leonid Kondrashov.

Under the agreement, the investor undertakes to pay taxes to the consolidated budget of the Novgorod region in the total amount of not less than 70 million rubles/year, starting from 15 months after the commissioning of the production facilities of the plant.

The total investment in the project will be at least 900 million rubles. Pellets will be produced from waste wood and non-timber forest. The company will be located in Malovishersky district. It will create at least 20 new jobs.
