Tesla truck test for timber transport

As part of a pilot project in Canada, Tesla Semis are used to transport wood. Mosaic Forest Management, a forestry company based on Vancouver Island, intends to use electrification to pave the way for emission-free transport.

Mosaic explains that there are currently no commercially available electric truck solutions that are suitable for the terrain on Vancouver Island.

Several Tesla semi-trucks are used to transport wood through a partnership with the local service provider EcoWest Driven on Vancouver Island. EcoWest Driven will set up a charging station with 45 commercial chargers and a service garage on its property.
