Sveza multiplies production of fuel briquettes in Saint Petersburg

The forestry division of the Sveza Group — Sveza Bioproduct — has upgraded equipment for fuel briquette production at its plywood plant in Saint Petersburg. The investment project amounted to 21 million rubles.

After the modernization, briquette output increased from 46 to 234 tons per month. The main improvements involved the feed line for small wood fractions, the aspiration system, and noise reduction measures.

The production capacity now fully meets the needs of Saint Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. By the end of 2025, output is expected to reach 330 tons per month.
