Russia reduced the production of wood-based panels in 2020

According to data from the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) in 2020, plywood production in Russia decreased by 3.2% YoY to 4 million m³. The output of fiberboard (including MDF/HDF/flooring) decreased as well – by 7.1% YoY to 642 mln conv. m², and of particleboard (including OSB) – by 1.5% YoY to 9.9 mln conv. m³.
