Production of paper and paper goods is growing in Moscow

In January 2024, the production of paper and paper goods in the capital surged by 45.3% YoY, as reported by the Information Center of the Moscow Government referencing Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor for Economic Policy and Property & Land Regulation.

According to the official, in 2023, the number of local plants involved in production of books, packaging, paper, and various paper goods rose by 14% and exceeded 700. The product shipment volume rose by 65.8% YoY in January 2024, up to 3.6 billion rubles.

In 2023, Moscow plants ramped up their production of paper and paper goods by 20% YoY.
