Plyterra commissioned the second plywood production line in Mordovia

Artem Zdunov, Acting Head of Mordovia, participated in commissioning a new automatic veneer drying and sorting line. The investment value was 2.25 billion rubles; 999 million of these are loans at 1% per annum from the Industrial Development Fund. The new line will increase the production output by 40% – from 115,000 to 160,000 m³ of plywood per year. The new equipment will reduce the defect rate by 5% and reduce raw material consumption. The company is also planning to launch wood pellets production.
