Pap-For Russia: the second day of the forum ended
On the second day of the Pap-For forum (November 14), participants discussed various ways to increase productivity and reduce costs in domestic pulp and paper mills.
Today business operates in real time and in an ever-changing market situation is quickly forced to make decisions. Therefore the speakers of the conference “Virtual pulp and paper mill: integrated automation” believe that employees of pulp and paper mills could timely detect equipment problems and quickly fix them to minimize the period of unplanned downtime and eliminate unnecessary costs for raw materials and energy through the using of automation systems.
On the conferences “Water treatment and wastewater treatment for pulp and paper enterprises”, “The best available technologies to improve the productivity and efficiency of pulp and paper mills” and “Efficiency and biotechnology” experts also offered their solutions to increase the efficiency of pulp and paper production.
At the specialized conference “Russian market of cardboard and corrugated packaging. Condition. Trends. Consolidation. Industry 4.0 ” participants talked about the state of the Russian packaging market in 2018 and its prospects for development in 2019, the need to finalize the technical regulations on packaging, as well as the advantages of digital printing on corrugated packaging.
As a result of the two-day work of the forum, both possible strategies for the successful development of the industry and technical solutions to increase the competitiveness of Russian pulp and paper products in the world market were considered.
The forum finished its work on the 14th of November, and the exhibition will be open for visitors during days – on the 15th of November and the 16th of November.
