Pap-For Russia is held in St. Petersburg

The international exhibition and forum Pap-For celebrates its anniversary this year. Once again, it remains one of the largest sites where enterprises present their innovations in the field of materials, technologies and equipment for the pulp and paper industry. The event is attended by more than 200 companies from 17 countries, and more than half of them are foreign ones.

The main program of the forum ended on the 13^th of November. Several sessions were held during the day. Within the plenary session “Reloading of the Russian pulp and paper industry” the experts reviewed the prospects for the development of markets and new approaches to the development of pulp and paper clusters. In addition to the topics discussed the speakers gave examples of expanding the product line of pulp and paper mills.

At the conference “Cyclical economy in the pulp and paper mill: raw materials–production–disposal” the participants considered the modern methods for transition to a cyclical economy which Russian enterprises could use to improve their competitiveness.

In addition, on the session “Marketing 5.0: digitalization of the Central Bank” experts spoke about the competitive advantages and feasibility of using digital technologies and Big Data in the development of strategies for the development of enterprises, as well as the criteria that drawn the attention of government and investors with the support of business.

The representatives of the Russian export center and SFT Group debated with the guests of the seminar “Export and marketing in foreign markets”. They told how domestic companies could increase the volume of export sales of paper and cardboard with the specialized tools.
