Novoyeniseiskiy LHK went into bankruptcy

31 August 2020 ` 18:13

According to the information available on the website of the Arbitration Court of the Krasnoyarsk Region, supervision has been introduced at Novoyeniseiskiy LHK. The bankruptcy case against the large Russian timber enterprise was initiated in March 2020 under the claim of Adjutant Private Security Company LLC due to a debt of 1.7 million rubles. The company later withdrew its bankruptcy claim against the enterprise.

In April, Novoyeniseiskiy LHK submitted its own bankruptcy petition. The case was also joined by Troika Leasing LLC claiming a debt of over 460 million rubles, Fesko Integrated Transport LLC (over 50 million rubles), Trust National Bank (29.3 million rubles), Federal Tax Service (147.9 million rubles). Earlier, the media reported that the decision to declare self-bankruptcy was conditioned by the difficult situation in sawn timber markets in 2019 and toughened requirements of the enterprise’s lending banks.
