Maersk predicts a 25% drop in maritime freight traffic in Q2 2020

According to Maersk company report global container trade declined by 4.7% in Q1 2020, primarily due to the COVID-19 pandemic that impacted both the supply chain and demand. Container demand is expected to weaken further in 2020, particular in Q2. The company expects to fall by 20-25%.
Maersk is the largest sea carrier in the world, controlling 20% of the world transport fleet.
