Leading Chinese purchasers of logs and lumber to gather at Wood Guangzhou 2015

Wood Guangzhou organizing committee announced that the top 100 Chinese purchasers of wood and wood products will attend the exhibition on May 9-11 and invited timber suppliers to attend the event. Currently, the country is building up ten clusters comprising processing and logistic facilities, including Manzhouli, Suifenhe, Zhuanghe, Tianjin, Lanshan, Zhangjiagang, Taicang, Zhangzhou, Shenzhen and Ruili. This means growing wood imports in the near future.

The organizing committee has reached an agreement with the local timber and furniture markets (Yuzhu, Fulin and Shunde) whose wood dealers will also attend the event.

The exhibition will be held on May 9-11, 2015, in Guangzhou and will be co-organized with China National Forest Product Industry Association, China National Furniture Association, and Guangdong Province Furniture Association. Concurrently the expo complex will host two more events: 2nd Guangzhou International Wood & Wood-Based Panel Conference and China National Wood-Working Machine Annual meeting & Global Wood-Working Machine Industry Forum.

In May 2014, many industry professionals participated as guest speakers of the first conference held in Guangzhou concurrently with the exhibition, such as EOS board member Sampsa Auvinen, WhatWood analytic agency editor Kirill Baranov (Russia), secretary general of CNFPIA Shi Feng, chairman of CNFPIA Qian Xiaoyu, CEO of BNBM Group Zhao Jun.
