Kazakhstan allowed the export of wood pellets

As per Order of the Ministry of Industry of Kazakhstan dated August 29, 2023 that amends Order dated June 7, 2023 “On some issues of regulating the export of certain types of timber”, wood pellets may be exported from the country as of September 17, 2023, Infobio information & analytics agency reports.

According to the analytics agency, local wood pellet producers used to bring up the issue of cost-effectiveness of supplying wood pellets to the EU and other countries.
