KAMA purchased tank containers for chemicals transportation in China

10 September 2024 ` 17:21

KAMA LLC (Krasnokamsk, Perm Region) purchased 64 tank containers from CIMC (China International Marine Containers) to transport hydrogen peroxide and caustic soda, as reported by the Russian company’s press office.

It explains that the company is currently leasing similar containers, and the contractor does not hold a lot of them; a permanently installed reservoir holds 3–4 days’ worth of chemicals, while the industry standard demands that this term shall be 15–20 days. So it was decided to purchase in-house equipment, thus providing safety stock for smooth production operation. To put this into perspective, the plant consumes 1–1.5 tank containers of hydrogen peroxide per day.
