Iranian businessmen are interested in buying Tyumen forest

The delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran paid a working visit to the Tyumen region on January 23, 2019. Representatives of four large companies of the state “Adrian Sina”, “Arian Arkin”, “Caspian Log”, R&d meet with representatives of the regional chamber of Commerce, the Fund “Investment Agency”, the Department of forestry and businessmen of the Tyumen region.

Chief Advisor “Arion said,” a member of the Board of Directors of “Caspian Log” Rabi Allah Glogar said that in October 2018, the delegation of the Tyumen region with working visit arrives in Tehran:

“At the invitation of the Chamber of Commerce of the Tyumen region, we arrived on a return visit and are interested in cooperation with the business of the region. The main interest of our company is the purchase of timber, as we work in the furniture industry. We are also ready to consider a joint production project.”

Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and industry of the Tyumen region Elena Averina during the negotiations noted the high level of investment climate in the region and the quality of products, as well as the increasing focus of business on export supplies:

“The trade turnover between the Tyumen region and Iran is low. We are interested in increasing it. For our part, we are ready to provide all possible assistance for the comfortable building of business relations between Iran and Tyumen.”

During the day, the delegation of Iran held talks with employees of ten companies of the Tyumen region on the prospects of cooperation, with representatives of the Sverdlovsk railway on the delivery of wood and specialists of the Department of Forestry.
