In Yakovlevsky district of Primorye illegally cut down wood found on the same day

Another fact of illegal logging was discovered by experts on the territory of the Pokrovsky district forestry in Yakovlevsky district, as the press service of the official website of the Primorsky Krai administration reported.

According to the Primorsky forestry, illegal logging was found when counting stumps. On the same day, the staff of the regional Department of forestry and FSB of Russia detained three cars with trailers loaded with wood. Drivers found falsified documents for the removal of timber from another forest block.

The tenant-LLC “Alpha” had permission to cut down a certain amount of trees. In fact, the tenant exceeded the volume of allowable cutting of ash almost twice.

“Forest plantations due to illegal logging caused particularly large damage,” – said in the Primorsky forestry.

According to preliminary data, the damage amounted to 154 million rubles.

Recall, since the beginning of the year in Primorye, several facts of illegal logging have been revealed – operational activities were held in the Kirov district, near Dalnegorsk, on the border of the Kirov and Spassk districts.
