In the Nizhny Novgorod region by 2021 intend to build a plant for the production of OSB

In the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin on December 20, 2018, the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin held a working meeting on the implementation of the investment project to create an industrial complex for the production of oriented particle Board in the Balakhna district. The project is intended to be implemented jointly by real invest CJSC and the Chinese state Corporation Sichuan Railway investment Group Co., Ltd.

“The Nizhny Novgorod region is interested in the implementation of this investment project. In the case of the project in the Balakhna region, it is planned to create about 400 jobs, which is of great importance for the development of this territory. The site is already there, the infrastructure has been prepared and a construction permit has been obtained. I am sure that the project will be implemented in the planned time”, – said Gleb Nikitin.

During the meeting, the possibility of assigning the investment project the status of priority, as well as the timing of the project was discussed. Investors intend to start production in 2021. The planned volume of investments is about 12 billion rubles. As part of the project, it is planned to establish the production of OSB with a density of 650 kg / m³ and a plate thickness of 6-30 mm.

Earlier, as reported by the press service of the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region, on September 12, 2018, within the framework of the Eastern economic forum, an agreement on cooperation between real invest CJSC and the Chinese state Corporation Sichuan Railway Investment Group Co was signed on the implementation of the investment project of creation of an industrial complex for the production of oriented chipboard on the investment site of JSC “Real-Invest”.
