In 2019, GC “Titan” plans to increase the volume of forest planting by 50%

Group of companies “Titan” has launched a project for the reproduction of seedlings with a closed root system.

The logging enterprise Shalakushales LLC (Nandomsky district of  Arkhangelsk region), which is a part of GC “Titan”, started the reproduction of seedlings with a closed root system (CRS). On the area of 0.11 hectares – five greenhouses – laid cassettes for growing seedlings of European spruce with CRS.

In 2021, the output of ready-made two-year seedlings of spruce in the amount of 240 thousand pieces is expected, which will create forest crops on an area of 120 hectares.

Last year, GC “Titan” invested more than 33 million rubles in the program of forest reproduction and forest care. The volume of forest planting in 2018 is 3 million seedlings on an area of more than 800 hectares.
