Import duty on bleached hardwood pulp will temporarily drop to zero since 1 January

The Board of Eurasian economic community (regulatory body of the Customs Union, which includes Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan) took a decision on establishment of the temporary zero import duty rate for some grades of semi-bleached and bleached hardwood pulp.

The zero rate will apply from 1 January 2014 until 31 December 2015. Currently, the import duty for bleached hardwood pulp is established at the rate of 10%.
