Ilim Group became the largest timber harvesteing enterprise in Russia in 2022

According to data of Roslesinforg, the amount of timber harvested in Russia decreased by 13.5% YoY to 194.6 million m³ in 2022, of which 37.1% (72.1 million m³) was accounted for by the twenty largest harvesting enterprises (the figure was 33.7% in 2021). The largest harvesting enterprise of the last year is Ilim Group: it beat its own record and harvested 12.605 million m³ of timber (+2.6% YoY). Segezha Group comes second with 12.1 million m³ (-16% YoY).

The Agency also reports that four enterprises increased the amount of timber harvested in 2022 compared to 2021: these are Ilim Group, Mondi Group, Lesresurs-Rusforest Group, and Solikamskbumprom Group.
