Furniture boards production to open in the Kaluga region

The investment project is being implemented by Lesnoy Soyuz LLC. The enterprise is engaged in timber sawing and planing in the village of Novoslobodsk of the Kaluga region. The Industrial Development Fund (IDF) has approved a loan of 50 million rubles to it, and the total investment in the plant is estimated at 100 million rubles. The money will be used to modernize the existing production facilities.

It is planned that the annual capacity of the furniture board line will be 3,600 m³. The boards are manufactured by gluing separate wooden blocks together.
