Elena Trubnikova, FinExpertiza: “Over the years of sanctions, revenues of Russian exporters increased by 68%”
In 2018, Russian exporters increased their ruble revenues by 11.45 trillion rubles or 68.1% compared to 2013. These data were shared with the media Elena Trubnikova, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the international auditing and consulting network FinExpertiza, in her report on the first international summit of the “Go Global Summit: the globalization of brands in the conditions of digitization of the economy”.
During the five-year period, during which Russian exports were under sanctions, 7 out of 10 major product groups showed an increase in export sales. All commodity groups, except one, in the five-year period showed an increase in ruble revenues.
Sales of wood and pulp and paper products brought additional 0.53 trillion rubles to exporters. Revenue in 2018 was 0.88 trillion and in 2013 a total of 0.35 trillion.
