By 2023 Koenig & Bauer, a German manufacturer of printing presses for packaging, plans to increase profits to 1.5 billion euros
According to Сlaus Bolza-Schünemann, CEO of Koenig & Bauer, “the growth of the cardboard, corrugated and flexible packaging markets will allow us to actively use the available opportunities. Therefore, by 2023, we plan to increase the company’s revenue to 1.5 billion euros with an increase in EBIT margin from 7% to 10%.”
It is reported by the corporate press service Koenig & Bauer, dated March 19, 2019, due to the reception record of the reception of orders, the company increased its share in the global flexible packaging market to 9 %. The company’s EBIT rose to 87.4 million euros (81.4 million euros – 2017). EBIT margin increased by 0.4 % – from 6.7% to 7.1%. The goals set by the company for 2018 have been achieved.
