Birch veneer export from the Vologda Region surged by almost one third

Since the beginning of 2024, producers of birch veneer from the Vologda Region increased the export of this product by 24% YoY, up to 10,100 m³, as reported by the press office of the North Western Inter-Regional Administration of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor) in a message published on May 22, 2024. The shipments were made to China (7,900 m³), Egypt (1,100 m³), and Vietnam (1,100 m³).
