At Lesosibirsk LDK №1 (Segezha Group, AFK “Sistema”), a month after the test run of the plant for the production of fuel pellets, shipped the first batch of biofuels to European buyers.

The first container train, consisting of 120 containers, will deliver to the buyer 2,373 tons of fuel pellets before the end of 2018. The second container train is already being prepared for shipment and will deliver more than 2,000 tons of pellets to customers at the beginning of 2019.

“We have signed contracts for the sale of the entire production of pellets in 2019, – said the sales Director of JSC” Lesosibirsk LDK №1 ” Julia Shevlyakova. – We will need to ship three container trains with pellets to the Baltic ports every month for further shipment to Denmark, Italy, Sweden and other European countries. Prices on the European market of pellets are growing steadily. This allows us to make plans to increase the production of fuel pellets. The design solution of the plant makes it possible to install a third production line and increase the volume of production by half.”
